Vision 2020’s FOLK MEDICINE FESTIVAL 2015
9:00am to 6:00pm   Healing arts practitioners, biodynamic farmers, organic gardeners, artists, craftsmen, singers, musicians, dancers, and storytellers all come together on the banks of the Salt Lick Creek to celebrate the restorative powers or nature. Vendors, demonstrators, entertainers, children's activities, food vendors, the quilt show and educational sessions will happen with the historic downtown area of town.  From the Palace Park through downtown, the Log Cabin Village area and down to the Church of Christ building.  There will be signs posted pointing to the various areas.  There will also be volunteers wearing ivory colored t-shirts within the festival red pump log on the front to help you find your way. You are welcome to spend the entire day with us!   The goal of the Red Boiling Springs Folk Medicine Festival is to pass on knowledge, skills, and traditions that ensure the survival of folk activities, from old-time medicine and natural healing arts to arts and crafts that demonstrate the traditional, handmade way of not only creating art but useful household items. We see the Folk Medicine Festival as an opportunity to encourage creative expression and foster a sense of community.    One of Red Boiling Springs’ premier “don’t miss” festivals !!  See the Vision 2020 website listed below for more details on this great fun-filled festival.

Armour’s Hotel SPA, Mineral Baths and Massage
@ The Armour’s Hotel Just a reminder about the availability of our Mineral Baths and Massage Therapy amenities here at The Armour’s Hotel.  Our hotel is the ONLY PLACE in the State of Tennessee wherein one can enjoy mineral baths and the “magical healing waters” of Red Boiling Springs precisely like folks did back in the early 1900s.  We are one of only 3 Licensed Massage Establishments in Macon County and also have several excellent Licensed Massage Therapists available to facilitate massage therapy, including Cecily Wingsong who has centered her personal massage therapy practice here at The Armour’s.    SPA and Massage Therapy is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY please.

Them Boys from Buffalo Valley recently spent an evening pickin' and singin' on our front porch.
